Character Information
*Character Name: Jaguar
*Character Canon: Beast Wars Metals (Manga)
*Age: ... Middle aged Cybertronian?
*Race: Cybertronian
*Timeline/Pull Point: March 2000 issue of Comic Bom-Bom, right after Tigatron slices him in half and killing him for a second time.

*History: Sadly there is not much information on him and the manga was never collected into an actual trade. I have translated what I could, and I have basic summaries, I have tried the best I could.

The manga is based upon season two and three of the Beast Wars cartoon but doesn't follow it really at all.

Summaries of Beast Wars metals Manga:
Aftermath
Protoform X
Code of Assassin
Web of Deceit
The Future Ends Now
Unity

For some reason they don't actually translate what is said much in the summaries, which is why I used this Japanese site and several kanji dictionaries. That particular site has pictures and quotes from the manga.

Also the TFWiki doesn't really have anything in the way of summaries either.

For clarity I'm going to refer to the use of 'god' in the original Japanese context as 'Primus' and 'Transformers' as 'Cybertronians.'

I'll still keep Autobots/Maximals as Cybertrons and Decepticons/Predacons as Destrons though. Just because it amuses me.

If this isn't okay, let me know!

Also any specific headcanon-ish stuff will be written in a blue table.

Jaguar is the son of the original Jaguar (G1 Ravage). His father had become a General and envoy of the of the Destrons when both the Destrons and Cybertrons signed a peace treaty and ended the original war. He was to be sent to Energoa (what a prehistoric Earth was being referred to as) to retrieve the Destrons and Cybertrons by the Tripredicus Council.

However, around this same time, his son had also escaped from a high-gravity Destron Military Prison. He shoots off the head of his own father and kills the rest of General Jaguar's troops.

He promised his father's dead body that he would be the one to end the new war that broke out on Energoa. Instead of doing it diplomatically, he would just slaughter them all instead.

You see, Jaguar had once been a commander of the Destron Special Forces -- a "black ops" type group, but he lost his mind and murdered tens of thousands of not only prisoners of war but regular innocent civilians. This was the reason he had gotten sentenced to a high security prison for a very long time.

The problem was, it couldn't hold him and he may have also killed several people in the prison itself because he was walking around in a mech-fluid stained cloak.

The 'Metals Jaguar' toy bio states that Jaguar who was a veteran soldier who under went organic reconstruction and lost a lot of his older memories. I believe a similar event might have happened to the manga Jaguar (who looks exactly like the toy). The organic reconstruction happened during his time in the Special Forces and messed up his processor so extensively that he honestly believes he's following the will of Primus.

Jaguar makes his way to the prehistoric planet by unknown means (most likely stole his father's ship) and invades Megatron's base. He kills everyone who is inside and waits for Megatron to return.

When Megatron does, he of course isn't too happy to find most of his troops dead, but he admires that sort of skill. He also knows exactly who Jaguar is what exactly he has done.

... And he wants that kind of person in his own army.

Jaguar isn't impressed with Megatron and rejects the idea. This sends Megatron into a rage, because how dare anyone reject working for him. He transforms to his metals Megarex form and prepares to kill Jaguar ... who simply just jumps into his mouth and shoots several holes into his head and the rest of his body.

He leaves Megatron for dead and transforms to his cat-bot mode and flies off to find more victims. He stumbles upon a village of early humans and decides to take it out from the air. Dinobot was there with the humans and tries to defend them, but ultimately ends up losing the battle (and his head).

A group of small children gather around the disembodied head. Jaguar remarks that they shouldn't mourn his death because they would join him soon and they should be grateful for being so young as it means their sins are light.

(Jaguar believes everyone is born in sin and must die for this reason).

Before he can murder the younglings children, Convoy bursts up from the ground. The two engage in a vicious battle and it looks like Jaguar might win when he blows a giant hole through Convoy's chest. But Convoy takes a risk and lands on Jaguar so that his arms go through the hole.

Apparently their self-repair works rather fast because the hole starts to close around Jaguar's arms. He tries to get away, which he kind of does ... at the loss of his arms.

Convoy maneuvers his own arms around and blasts Jaguar with his very own weapons, killing him.

-- The first time.

While all the rest of this is going on, it turns out Megatron really didn't die and Waspinator had carried his head to the Ark. They both run into Blackarachnia and get into a fight. The Cybertrons had tapped into the the security cameras aboard the Ark and see all this is going on and decide to rush out there to prevent whatever it was that Megatron was attempting to do ... as a head.

But before they reach there, Megatron's head ends up inside of the original G1 Megatron's body. He says a command and sparks rain down from the sky, coming out of Rampage who had apparently developed an appetite and had eaten a bunch of them.

The sparks fall down and enter the bodies of everyone who had previously and recently died and resurrect them.

The Cybertrons did eventually arrive and try to stop Megatron, but have difficulties against the recently resurrected minions of Megatron.

This also includes Jaguar, who still believes in his mission even after death (as this was probably proof that he was indeed on a mission from Primus -- being resurrected and all) and attempts to start killing people again.

He wants to go after Convoy first (as sort of a revenge), but Tigatron jumps in and challenges him instead. Their fight does not last very long as Tigatron is a mighty samurai-like warrior and cuts Jaguar cleanly in half with a sword -- killing him a second time.

And then Jaguar is going to wake up on the new Cybertron all nice and alive and think that Primus brought him there.

Jaguar is the son of the original Jaguar (Ravage). His was once a cassetticon in the original Megatron's army during the great war that went on for millennia between the Destrons (Decepticons) and Cybertrons (Autobots). As the war continued and many Cybertronians were reconstructed to different forms and smaller sizes in order to conserve Energon. The original Jaguar went through organic reconstruction first, and his son followed in his footsteps.

While the original Jaguar went on to become a General in the Destron army, his son trained to be apart of the special forces. Though he aspired to be as respected as his father, his path was different and far more dangerous. The special forces training and missions he went on were the type only few would dare to even attempt as the chances of survival were slim.

Jaguar continued to train and build his skills until he was eventually promoted to his own team. They were referred to as Ebony and they were the 'get in and get things done and get out without anyone noticing type.' To aid Jaguar in his new position he went through another reconstruction upgrade, but it had an unfortunate side-effect.

The process damaged his mind. He started to see everyone as the enemy and felt as though he had a connection to Primus. Slowly but surely his mind went until he finally snapped -- he massacred hundreds of Cybertron prisoners of war his group managed to capture. But he didn't stop there, he went on to others -- those not even involved in the war -- and those he was on the same side of. He had completely murdered his entire team by the time he was captured.

For all his crimes he was to serve a life sentence in a Destron maximum security prison. He spent his time there, his mind growing deeper into madness until he realized his purpose in life.

He believed he saw a vision and that was when he knew he had to escape.

*Personality: Jaguar honestly believes that Primus has sent him on a mission to purify the universe. By purify, he means "destroy every living sentient being in existence." He views others are a sort of pestilence that pollute all worlds.

He makes no distinction between young, old, organic, Cybertronian. Everyone was created in "sin" and if they are allowed to live, their taint spreads through everything. However, he does see small children as having a lighter version of sin than someone who has lived longer. But that is not enough to stop him from murdering even them.

Jaguar also believes he is the only one who is able to carry about his mission. That his body was given to him by Primus and it is by his will and his will alone that he must be the Saint of Annihilation. (Had to throw that in since it's one of his chapter titles.)

Because of this viewpoint he is extremely arrogant about his own abilities. His only fear is that if he dies that there would be no one left to carry out his mission, but then in turn his answer to his own fear is "I just won't die."

He is also very upfront with his views and will not hide what he has done or accept any judgement from anyone else (after all, only Primus can judge him). The thoughts and morals of others mean little to him. In other words, he really doesn't care what anyone thinks.

All in all he is quite psychotic.

Jaguar wasn't always insanely psychotic, actually at one time he simply wanted to be accepted by his father and prove his own strength to the world. He did still hold a certain arrogance about himself, but he feared failure. He especially did not want to fail his father.

To combat his fears, he trained harder and pushed himself to every extreme. He became very skilled, but there was always a chance for mistakes, so he always had to do more.

It was a double-edged sword in a way. On one side he knew he was more skilled and better trained than many others, but on the other side it still wasn't good enough.

He needed to reach the top even if his personal goals and expectations were impossible. This is why he agreed to a second upgrade and reconstruction that effectively destroyed his mind.

Jaguar was also a bit of a loner. Though he managed to work his way up to his own team, he preferred to do missions alone. He'd rather not make any mistakes where he'd be forced to rely on the backup of others.

He was not, however, anti-social. He had no problems speaking with others, provided he did not find them to be exceptionally stupid. But even then, small talk did not mean a whole lot to him. Discussions of guns and other weapons? Sure, that would certainly catch his interest. The weather or random gossip? Not so much.

*Powers/Abilities: Jaguar is an extremely skilled fighter (think of typical action hero super moves kinda like Jean ClaudeVan Damme sort of leg split stuff). He works mostly with guns though and everything else is just so that he can dramatically shoot people to death.

He can also fly, but only in his jaguar mode where he has a couple of boosters on his sides. ... On the same note he can halfway transform and pull down his regular arms and fire weapons while in this mode.

His guns can be spring loaded to pop from his wrists into his hands for easy access.

(It's pretty much anything the toy can do, he can do as well.)

He does not use the reflect-shield invisibility in the comic, but it is mentioned on the toy bio and Beast Wars Ravage has it, which he's sort of based on in a twisted sort of way. If it's allowed, I'd just have it as something time-limited.

But if not since he doesn't actually show the ability in the comics themselves, that's fine by me!

*Inventory: Twin guns and two extended barrels that attach to his hips. And his oil stained cloak.

*Starting Polarity: You guys can fight over him.

Writing Samples
*First Person Sample: [Glowing red optics and a dark, cat-like face appear on the screen. It does not matter who sees his appearance, he'd rather everyone know who would be bringing down retribution upon the world.]

Life again -- the creator has spoken with more clarity than ever before.

I said once that no one can struggle against the will of Primus, and it has proven true!

Fear not those who exist on this new world. I will cleanse it before sin has time to take hold. Your deaths will not be in vain, and you will return to your source of origin.

Embrace your fate because your time has come.

*Third Person Sample: Jaguar remembered the pain, though that was nothing new to him. The blade that sliced through him with little effort, by that one ... Tigatron? It was in that brief moment, he had felt a sense of failure. His spark had faded, the creator abandoned him for not completing his mission.

He was certain he could not lose, could not die. He came back once! The darkness encased him like a tomb and he relinquished to his fate.

Except -- he awoke again -- whole this time. The scars faded like he was born anew. He stared at his own hands and fought back the instant regret.

"Creator, forgive me for losing faith. I will make amends and continue your will. The insects which crawl upon your universe and infect every bit of its purity will be returned to your light."

He made his promise to the sky, as though someone were listening. Perhaps someone was. Primus had to be. Destiny was his only explanation for what happened. He was not meant to die, not ever. His mission would go on, and he was truly beyond even death.

Jaguar turned to stare off into the distance.

He remembered the promise he made to his father -- he would be the one to stop all wars. This time he would not let his creator or father down.

He would succeed at all costs.

Final Notes: Since I wasn't sure about the name conversions, just let me know if I should use God instead of Primus or Autobot and Decepticon.
